The POEMS Semiconductor Spring School will take place from 6 to 10 April 2026 at the University of Aveiro, bringing together students and experts for an intensive week dedicated to semiconductor technologies.

Aimed at advanced bachelor’s and early master’s students, this academy seeks to provide a solid foundation in the fundamental concepts of microelectronics and semiconductors, while also exploring current and emerging trends across the entire value chain, from chip design and materials to advanced packaging and future applications.

Throughout the week, participants will engage with specialised technical content, theoretical sessions, and opportunities for interaction with researchers and industry professionals, within an international and highly qualified environment, fostering stronger links between academia, research and industry.
