Leading European research laboratories are to receive 2.5 billion euros (2.72 billion dollars) in funding under the European Chips Act to create a pilot line to develop and test future generations of advanced computer chips. These investments will enable the European supplier ecosystem to increase its competitiveness while boosting the global chip value chain.
