Synopsys plans to invest 25 million euros in Portugal over the next three/four years

Synopsys, the world leader in EDA (Electronic Design Automation) and IP (Intellectual Property) solutions for semiconductors, is to invest 25 million euros in Portugal over the next three/four years.

Synopsys' expansion plan for this period includes the hiring of at least 200 more “highly qualified semiconductor engineers”, the purchase of new technological equipment for the test laboratories and the expansion of the offices located in Maia (Tecmaia) and Oeiras (Lagoas Park), where the multinational founded 38 years ago in Silicon Valley currently employs 720 people.
