The United States plans to apply new tariffs on semiconductors produced in China and other strategic countries within one to two months, as part of measures to protect American industry.

The measure is part of the policy agenda, which aims to strengthen domestic production of components and reduce dependence on foreign suppliers, particularly in Asia.
