Our consortium member Inova-Ria, as a partner in the Microelectronics Agenda, a project funded by the PRR, will be holding a Thematic Workshop on “Cybersecurity” on November 12, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., in Auditório 2 do edifício B, da Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão, do Instituto Politécnico de Leiria.
This event aims to focus on cybersecurity, with a special focus on approaches that need further development in terms of hardware and, in particular, in the area of microelectronics.
The format of the event will have two panels, in which we will be able to attend presentations (10 min/speaker) and debates.
This is the third of ten themed workshops promoted by Inova-Ria as part of the Microelectronics Agenda, with the aim of transferring knowledge to all professionals in the sector and encouraging the sharing of experiences and technological updates in key areas.
This third event is free of charge and will take place in Auditorium 2, Building B, of the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. It runs from 2.30pm to 5.30pm and already has the following speakers confirmed: Francisco Rente (Artresilia), Gustavo Anjos (IT – Quantum Security), André Zúquete (University of Aveiro), Bruno Duarte (Checkpoint), Leonel Santos (IPL). One of the topics on the table will be “Why Cybersecurity in Semiconductors and Microelectronics Matters”, presented by Leonel Santos, a lecturer at IPL.
This will be the ideal space to promote the sharing of technical knowledge and networking, attracting professionals, researchers, students, teachers and those interested in the topics discussed.
