Inova-Ria, a consortium partner of the Microelectronics Mobilizing Agenda, funded by the PRR, took part yesterday, December 10, in the Electro-technics Days XI, a job fair that took place at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) and brought together students, teachers, specialists and the scientific community. This partner sought to promote the Agenda to the community and raise awareness of the choice of the Microelectronics sector as a future option.
In addition to the presence of the Microelectronics Agenda stand, this initiative was attended by Nuno Fernandes, Global Sales Manager at Neadvance, a consortium member of the Microelectronics Agenda, who presented the topic “𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗽 – the low-code platform for Industry 4.0”. The students had the opportunity to learn more about Neadvance’s developments and the applicability of artificial intelligence to industry.
The need to attract qualified talent to the Microelectronics sector is a priority for the various entities operating in the sector and for this reason, it is essential to publicize and make students aware of the opportunities inherent in this sector.
Our partners Amkor and Synopsys were also present at the event.
In total, between visits to the stand and attendance at the workshop, more than 40 students, future engineers, were impacted.
This partner will continue with this dynamic in 2025, until the end of the project.
