Personal Data

Personal data means any information, of any nature and regardless of its medium, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

 

Through this website and for the purposes mentioned below, the following personal data may be collected: name, contact details (telephone and email), and other information necessary and relevant to the fulfilment of the services requested from us.

 

Purpose and Processing of Personal Data


Personal data is collected in a lawful, fair and transparent manner, considering that its processing is necessary and indispensable for the realisation of the services we provide.

 

In this way, the Member recognises and accepts that, without access to the personal data collected, the provision of services is not possible.

The personal data collected is processed by computer and in strict compliance with personal data protection legislation. It is stored in specific databases based in the EU, created for this purpose, and under no circumstances will the data collected be used for any purpose other than that for which the data subject has given their consent.

 

Retention of Personal Data

The data provided and collected with consent will be kept for the period necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and in order to comply with legal obligations or until the time necessary to guarantee the exercise of the rights of opposition, rectification and erasure has elapsed.

 

Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and right to portability of Personal Data

The user, as data subject, is guaranteed the right to access their Personal Data at any time, as well as the right to rectify, erase, portability, limit and/or object to processing.

 

According to Article 15 et seq. of the RGDP, these rights consist of:

Right of access –The holder of personal data has the right to obtain confirmation from INOVA-RIA as to whether or not the data concerning them is being processed and, where appropriate, to access their personal data.

Right of rectification – The holder of personal data has the right to obtain from INOVA-RIA the rectification of incomplete or incorrect data concerning them.

Right to be forgotten –The holder of the personal data has the right to request INOVA-RIA to delete the personal data when one of the following reasons applies, except for the fulfilment of a legal obligation:

    • The personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or processed;
    • The data subject withdraws consent for the processing of data and there is no other basis for such processing.

Right to object – You can object to the processing of your personal data whenever the processing is carried out for direct marketing purposes.

 

Personal Data Controller

The entity responsible for collecting and processing Personal Data for the above purposes is Inova-Ria, with its registered office at Parque de Exposições de Aveiro, Rua Dr Manuel Almeida Trindade, 3810 – 488 Aveiro, Portugal.
